Pointe Baptiste is unique in Dominica, in having 2 sand beaches on the property, one with white coral sand, and the other with black sand. There is even a small third beach tucked away in a cove, the path leading to it was taken away by a landslide The easiest way to access it now is by walking along the rocks opr swimming from the black sand beach. Best attempted though in calm weather.
