Will I actually be able to see any chocolate making?
Yes! We are making chocolate all year along, working daily on one or more tasks. There are 10 different steps involved. During your visit we will show you the ongoing process and walk you trough the others.
Do I need to book in advance ?
No. We encourage walk-ins rather than booking ahead. But for school groups see below.
Do I need to book in advance if i am a Dominican school organizing a school trip?
Yes. This is so we can prepare ahead of time. The tour will be free of charge, however we ask that children walk with necessary funds should they want to buy any chocolate.
Do I need to book in advance if I am a school from abroad?
Yes. Please contact us to let us know the date, time and number of persons so that we can provide the group fee.
Can I get a tour in french ?
Yes! Unless exceptional circumstances, we try to have a french speaking member of staff every day.
What are the fees?
XCD 10 per person. Children under 10 years old and under are free.
What are your hours
From 9:30 am until 5 pm every day of the year.
Can I pick up some fruits or plants?
No. But if you are curious please ask any member of staff.
What can I do around the chocolate factory ?
There are lots of things to do in the area.
Within a 10 minutes walk you can go to the Red Rocks or Ti Baptiste beach.
Within a 5 minutes drive you can visit Calibishie village and enjoy food in one of the restaurants.
Within a 20 minutes drive you can enjoy a swim to quite a few beautiful beaches and rivers or a hike to Chaudiere pool.
